Lymphatic Massage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle, rhythmic, and highly specialized form of massage designed to support the body’s lymphatic system — the network responsible for fluid balance, immune function, and natural detoxification. Using light, precise, and carefully sequenced strokes, MLD encourages lymph flow, reduces swelling, and promotes a sense of deep relaxation. This technique is commonly used to help manage fluid retention, post‑surgical swelling, and general inflammation, and is also valued for its calming effect on the nervous system. Unlike traditional massage, MLD uses very light pressure and specific directional movements that follow the natural pathways of the lymphatic vessels. Clients often describe MLD as soothing, subtle, and surprisingly effective, making it a popular choice for those seeking gentle therapeutic support and improved overall wellness.
I am currently a Level 2 LDT therapist with goals of completing level 3 in 2026.
With this there are some limitations to what I am able to treat. Please ask for literature at the clinic to learn more. Brochures are available.
