Massage Therapy
Josh, RMT
Josh graduated in 2017 from Mount Royal University in Alberta. As an RMT Josh has had a passion for helping clients to be and maintain the best versions of themselves. Josh wants clients to be able to enjoy their lives to the fullest extent and not to be unable to because of something that can be solved through massage.
Josh has been living in Ontario for 4 years and working at a massage clinic where he was treating upper body neck and shoulder conditions regularly. Josh has now moved back to the west and is hoping to bring his ability to help people around Invermere.
Josh enjoys helping clients through their treatments with suggestions in regards to homecare and any questions they may have.

Lindsay LeBourdais
In 2009 I graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, and in 2013 she completed my Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia.
My approach is simple: manual therapy techniques to reduce pain and functional limitations, and individualized education and exercise programs for long lasting pain relief and self-management.
I have taken advanced training in dry needling, and manual and manipulative therapy. I have also taken continuing education courses in the management of jaw disorders, pelvic health and rehabilitation, and pelvic pain disorders.
My special interests are injuries of the jaw, and lower back, as well as assessment and treatment of pelvic floor health and function. However, I treat all ranges of acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries and impairments.
I live in Invermere with my husband, and our two kids. I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, paddleboarding, and cross country skiing. I love to explore all the amazing adventures this valley has to offer and I look forward to helping you continue to enjoy them all too
Jane Armstrong
I graduated with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University and I hold a BSc Honors in Physiology and Sports Science from the University of Glasgow.
I have completed additional training in Functional Dry Needling (IMS), Kinesiotaping, Myofascial Release, and Injury Prevention in Runners, and in 2023 I completed my designation as a Certified Hand Therapist.
My work in a private practice setting has provided me with a broad range of experience, including working directly with Banff Sports Medicine orthopaedic surgeons at a weekly knee clinic. This involved postoperative testing, assisting safe return to sport and care following knee surgery. I also spent time as part of a team of Physiotherapists assisting in the triage of shoulder patients, to help improve access to non-surgical and surgical care.
I have been fortunate to have been involved in extensive specialized hand therapy mentorship and as a Certified Hand Therapist, I have a designated specialization in the rehabilitation of the upper extremity; from shoulder to hand.
I grew up on a farm in the South West of Scotland and was competitive in equestrian sports. These days I like to pursue my keen interest in skiing, and spend my summers mountain biking local trails.

Dr. Mike Baker
BSc Biochemistry,MSc Molecular Biology, Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine,
I have always wanted to be in the medical profession for two reasons; I am drawn to helping people and I enjoy solving problems, so initially I wanted to be a MD. But I’m very strongly drawn to nature. I enjoy spending a long time just looking around on a hiking trail learning about the plants and leaves. So my strong natural curiosity was a perfect fit with naturopathic medicine, where the physician’s job is to find the root cause of a patient’s problems beneath many different layers of symptoms, and then guide him or her toward a healthier lifestyle.
The option of being a naturopathic doctor occurred to me while attending university. During my time there I saw an ND and was pleasantly surprised! Her approach was thorough and holistic, and I was truly impressed with the abundance of therapeutic options she had to offer. As I had acupuncture done she prepared a personalized tincture, and I was sent home with recommended lifestyle changes. I wasn’t just given a single pill! But most importantly, I got to tell my health story to someone who had the time to listen.
I grew up in Invermere, and so I’m happy to be back! Now in my spare time I enjoy mountain biking, skiing, exploring the Columbia valley, and trying to make gluten free food taste good.
Doctor of Naturopathic MedicineDr. Marika Geis
Starting out I had no idea that I would train to become a Naturopathic Doctor, much less know what Naturopathic Medicine was. I did however, have a clear idea of the values I hoped my chosen career would one day fulfill. I knew that I wanted a profession that could impact individuals and their communities in a profound way. I knew that I wanted to be part of something that allowed the greatest opportunity for learning and personal growth, and to connect with those I wished to serve. Several years living in the Rockies helped solidify my values regarding environmental stewardship, in that if we took care of Mother Earth, she would in turn take care of us. My own health concerns in my early 20’s shone a light on the responsibility each of us must take for our own well-being; if I didn’t give my body the basics of what it needed in order to be well, no amount of medication was going to work simply because it would not have addressed the cause. Lastly, I knew from a life peppered with travel to over 20 countries that there were several creative ways to approach a problem, and that there was room for all.
I never in a million years thought I would be lucky enough to find a career that embodied each of these values.
Since then I have had the good fortune to collaborate with a dedicated, dauntless, and loyal community, open to exploring a novel approach to health care. My ongoing experiences with these communities shaped my practice into one that addresses a wide range of concerns. Family health care though, is where I’ve found Naturopathic Medicine to have the greatest impact on our patients. This entails pre-conception care, fertility, perinatal care, pediatrics, & women’s health and stress syndromes (digestion, immunity fatigue, and pain complexes). Drawing from a unique array of Clinical Nutrition, Botanical Therapy, Hydrotherapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and diet and lifestyle counselling, we are able (together) to tailor your treatment plan according to your individual needs. Our goal? Restoring balance, independence, and the ability to respond to the ever changing demands of this modern day life.
I would be so honored to meet with you and discuss how we can best put Naturopathic Medicine to work for you.
